Laura + Brian – Intimate Couple Session

“It’s the season of love,
the time for friends and for adventure.
As time comes and goes,
we don’t worry about anything despite our wounds.
For the season of love
is both long and short,
it lasts forever – we remember it.

They say that, at twenty, you are the king of the world
and that there will be, in our eyes,
blues skies forever.

It’s the season of love,
the time for friends and for adventure.
As time comes and goes,
we don’t worry about anything despite our wounds.
For the season of love
fills your heart
with warmth and happiness.

One fine day, it’s love, and your heart beats quicker,
because life follows its course
and we are all happy to be in love.

It’s the season of love,
the time for friends and for adventure.
As time comes and goes,
we don’t worry about anything despite our wounds.
For the season of love
is both long and short,
it lasts forever – we remember it.”

Françoise Hardy – Le temps de l’amour

We have known Laura for some time as she is not only an amazingly talented wedding photographer but she works at our favorite beer store in Detroit 8 Degrees Plato. So over the years as we frequent find ourselves in Detroit photographing weddings and general fun, we’ll often park ourselves at one of the picnic style tables editing, chatting, and having a few beers. It’s not usually busy and we find it more appealing than coffee at times. The company is good, the beer list is always amazing, and we wouldn’t be offended if we ended up here on a wedding day. It sure as hell would be the place Robyn and I would head to if we decided to have our wedding in Detroit one day.
