Krisita and Rhys Grosse Pointe War Memorial wedding was truly something. From their initial story to the wedding day we were enthralled. We should mention up front that this was their second ceremony. Not that it changed anything about the day, the feel, the emotion, or anything. Our 2¢, it made it better and we can prove it. Not just because we were there but through a lengthy post about wedding philosophy, planning, and so on. But now is not the time nor place. Now is the time to celebrate.
From our eyes their wedding was a second party. A second time to see family and relive the first ceremony. We were amazed at how quickly Rhy’s family took to Detroit. They had question after question but had already hit all the good spots. So we gave what recommendations were left and got to photographing it all. In getting to know everyone we heard stories of an American Thanksgiving in Australia to a few Australian slang words we’ve never heard before and even though we are 100% sure planning two weddings is hard, with one being international, everything seemed more relaxed. A mood we strongly encourage for all couples planning their wedding. From the time we saw Krista to the end of the night that mood carried through.
In conclusion we’re glad they brought their wedding party to Michigan. By the way it’s a long one. So be ready
