As years pass by things change. People are no exception to that rule. I write this because we have know Tremar for a few years. Not long, but enough time to watch him grow. When we first met Tremar he was fueled with so much passion. He still is but it is even more focused than before. He always has been a person who speaks honest and open and we love that about people.
So when Jessica contacted us about photographing their one year anniversary shoot on Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan we jumped on the opportunity. We knew immediately that collaborating with Jessica, Tremar, and a few other amazing people this shoot would make their anniversary be a memorable one. Jessica carried a bouquet made with locally grown flowers she collected, the table was covered with beautiful greenery, all centered around a lovely vegan apple spiced cake along with a sweet little note to top a lovely place setting. Not only was the day was completely lovely but Jessica and Tremar were so full of joy and passion it was contagious. The passion Tremar has for his music is astonishing. He shares the same passion for Jessica, if not more.
Seeing all the people we know go from one place to the next, continually moving to different stages of life drives us to do the same. We love photographing weddings because it involves people. Not just seeing the story of each and every person, but becoming involved in those stories gives us more drive and passion. When an inquiry comes to our inbox it is just a name. From the first meeting on either skype, facetime, telephone, or in person it becomes more personal. Then when the day arrives to actually photograph the event is when it all comes to fruition. We pick up our cameras being sure to carefully watch how each person interacts. Keeping an eye out for the glimpse of a story we may see happening.
